A Sweet Couples Session in Siloam Springs, Arkansas

This adorable little ice cream shop in downtown Siloam Springs, AR is called “Pure Joy”—I can’t think of a more perfect description for this session with The Calas!

When Aubrey reached out to me to book a couples session with her husband Mark, she mentioned that she really wanted to go somewhere fun. I vibed with this immediately and was thrilled to learn that one of their favorite things to do is go get ice cream. With a perfect location picked out, I couldn’t wait to meet these two.

From the minute we started sampling flavors together on the day of the session, we felt like old pals. We talked about their first date, we laughed while Mark shared the details of their proposal story, and we discussed all the best places to eat in Northwest Arkansas (one of my favorite topics, tbh.) It’s clear that Aubrey and Mark are constantly having fun together, and it was a blast and an honor to capture their connection.

Here’s a tip: your session location should reflect you—your values, your relationship, and the things that you enjoy together. Don’t be afraid to suggest something unique or ask me to put together some options that aren’t my typical session locations!
